Presentación del libro: Espacios tecnoestéticos de ficción, publicado por Ediciones Uniandes y la Facultad de Arquitectura y Diseño de la Universidad de los Andes, como el resultado de una investigación desde la práctica creativa. Esta pesquisa dio origen a Lapsus Trópicus, una obra que generó una especulación poética sobre la relación entre el ser humano, la tecnología y la naturaleza, a partir de la hipótesis ficticia sobre: qué pasaría si un glitch —un error informático— transformara un ecosistema específico. En este contexto se tuvieron en cuenta distintos aspectos de un proceso creativo que dialoga con referencias como el arte, el diseño, la arquitectura, el cine de ciencia ficción y momentos históricos claves en el desarrollo de la ciencia, con el objetivo de crear una reflexión sobre las consecuencias de la era del Antropoceno. Lapsus Trópicus se materializó como una floresta digital, un ecosistema transformado por la tecnología, que pretende ser la Matrix entre un mundo virtual y su simulacro: el biológicamente real.

Este libro es una versión editada de la tesis realizada por la artista Karen Aune en el programa de doctorado Estudios Avanzados en Producciones Artísticas de la Universidad de Barcelona. Esta obra cuenta con un prólogo de Julia Buenaventura y ensayos escritos por Andrés García La Rota, Santiago Rueda y César Peña.
